HOMETEX, the Most Important Gathering of the Home Textiles Industry, Opens Its Doors on May 19
The HOMETEX Home Textiles Exhibition, one of the largest fairs in the world for the home textiles industry, is preparing to open its doors on May 19 at the Istanbul Expo Center.
Organized by the Turkish Home Textile Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TETSİAD), with the coordination of KFA Fair Organization Company, a subsidiary of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), HOMETEX will host industry professionals from around the world between May 19–22, 2026. As the gateway of the Turkish home textiles industry to the global market, the exhibition will once again be one of the sector’s most important meeting points in 2026.
Last year, HOMETEX was held across 11 halls covering a total area of 200,000 square meters, bringing together national and international players at the Istanbul Expo Center. More than 650 domestic and international companies showcased their new products, attracting 170,000 visits from 126 countries over five days. The total business volume exceeded expectations, reaching approximately 1.5 billion USD.
An Event That Brings the World Together
Organized by TETSİAD and managed by KFA Fair Organization Company, the HOMETEX Home Textiles Exhibition continues to set trends and shape fashion in the industry. With a renewed vision introduced in 2022, the fair is eagerly anticipated by the sector.
A Center of Attraction for the Industry
Recognized by both participants and visitors as one of the most successful events ever organized for the home textiles industry, HOMETEX will welcome international business professionals from various regions between May 19–22, 2026. Thousands of qualified domestic buyers are also expected to attend this key industry event.
Qualified Buyers to Take Their Place at HOMETEX
With the participation of hundreds of local and international brands, HOMETEX will also host purchasing delegations, offering companies new export and business collaboration opportunities. The exhibition is expected to attract potential buyers from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the United States, and Turkic Republics, significantly contributing to the sector’s year-end export performance.
