The R+T Team is in constant dialogue with exhibitors and visitors in order to offer
them a tailor-made industry platform through the leading world trade fair for roller
shutters, doors/gates and sun protection systems. The communication channels
here are as varied as the industry itself – since 2017 the R+T Team has been more
actively involved, for example, in Facebook and Twitter. In order to continue
extending the activities in this area, R+T started its own LinkedIn Group in the
middle of April. All industry representatives are cordially invited to discuss on the
platform a wide range of topics relating to the industry. The English-language
Group will primarily enable manufacturers, experts, multipliers and associations or
institutes and journalists to exchange information and experiences on an
international basis.
By establishing R+T LinkedIn Group, the organisers of the trade fair are
promoting, in particular, international exchanges on industry topics and are
therefore continuously extending the presence in social media channels. “We have
been thinking about creating our own Group for a long time,” said Sebastian
Schmid, Department Director Technology Trade Fairs, who has prime
responsibility for R+T. “Initial evaluations of R+T 2018 clearly show that the
market also wants this communication channel and international exchange.”
R+T wants to use the new LinkedIn Group to restrengthen the position of the
leading world trade fair as a global industry meeting point and innovation
platform. The responsible editorial team operates worldwide so that members of
the Group find everything worth knowing about rollers shutters, doors/gates and
sun protection systems in direct exchange with important international market
participants. Trend topics such as outdoor living and the smart home are also
examined. All members are also expressly requested to make an active
contribution through their own questions.
